County Down
County Down, (Dúin in Irish) has some interesting, high quality venues to offer. County Down has a great coastline that stretches along Belfast Lough to the north and Carlingford Lough to the south. There is a wide selection of excellent venues spread around the county including some great hotels and public houses. County Down is also home to many areas of the Mourne Mountains, including Slieve Donard which is the highest peak in the Mourne Mountains at 848 meters.

The county town and largest town is Bangor. Bangor has many unique venues with lots of character and charm. County Down borders with County Antrim and County Armagh. This provides many excellent contemporary venues and conference centres, as well as many race courses and sporting stadiums in and around the Belfast area.

County Down is well known for the Brontë Homeland where Patrick Bronte had his church, and daughters Anne, Charlotte and Emily Bronte were born. County Down is also home to the Northern Ireland Aquarium located in Portaferry attracting a large number of visitors each year.
