County Clare (Chláir in Irish) is located on the west coast and is home to Ireland’s longest river, the river Shannon. County Clare is renowned internationally for its musical traditions. There are many music festivals held in County Clare such as Willie Clancy Summer School. The county is also responsible for producing many great musical acts such as the Kilfenora Céilí Band, Stockton's Wing, Sharon Shannon, Eoin O'Neill, Eamon Cotter, Peadar O'Loughlin, Martin Hayes, the famous Lourda Kerin and legendary tin-whistlist Micho Russell. This musical heritage makes County Clare an excellent venue for hosting a wide range of corporate events.

County Clare is well known for its beautiful scenery, in particular the Cliffs of Moher which offer spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Many of the venues in County Clare are to be found in the county town of Ennis.

Ireland’s second largest airport, Shannon airport, situated near Ennis, makes County Clare an excellent venue for international events. Shannon airport has regular passenger flights to the US, UK, and Europe. There are many great atmospheric hotels and public houses in County Clare. If you are looking for conference centres or exhibition venues in County Clare it is wise to stick to the larger towns of Ennis and Shannon.
