Dublin City Volunteer Week 23-27 May 2008
As well as producing many events for the corporate sector, Reinvent strongly believes in supporting ‘not for profit’ events and organisations. Recently Reinvent worked in association with Dublin City Council to produce a series of awareness events for Dublin City Volunteer Week which was held from the 23-27 May 2008.
Throughout the week several events were held to celebrate the contributions of volunteer’s right across the city. 2008 is also the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. This was combined with the Dublin City Volunteer Week programme and culminated with a Multicultural Volunteer Fair, held in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar.
The week combined a colourful blend of music, dance, art and entertainment, helping to raise awareness and celebrate the fantastic work done by volunteers from across Dublin.
